Hamilton Central Business Association invites you to join us for an exclusive Boon Street Art tour of the new murals being painted in the central city as part of the 2025 Boon Street Art Festival!

Date: 12th March

Time: 4pm - 6pm

This tour will start outside SkyCity and will end at the South end of town visiting the following artists inaction:

Following the tour, we will make our way to the Waikato Society of Arts for networking and refreshments.

Boon Street Art Festival to Transform Hamilton with Stunning Murals and Cultural Experiences – March 13th-16th, 2025.

Kirikiriroa, Hamilton, prepare for an exciting four days of art, culture, and community as the Boon Street Art Festival returns to Hamilton from March 13th to 16th, 2025. This exciting festival will feature an incredible artist lineup, an interactive community mural, and a variety of events designed to celebrate the city's creative spirit.

The talented artists set to showcase their work include international artist Alison Mooney, Alice Alva (Hamilton), Kophie Su’a Hulsbosch (Christchurch), Flox & Sweats (Auckland), Theo Arraj (Raglan), and Te Marunui Hotene (Whakatane).

Marlon Williams - Te Whare Tīwekaweka Tour

Marlon Williams (Kāi Tahu, Ngāi Tai) is about to release his first Māori language album, Te Whare Tīwekaweka, (out April 4th) and also announces an 11-date album tour of Aotearoa.Performing with his long-time band The Yarra Benders as well as some special appearances from some of the album’s collaborators, Marlon Williams will bring Te Whare Tīwekaweka to life across the main stages in our most illustrious theatre venues.

What is 'Mahi on the awa'?

The Sentinel Homes Mahi on the Awa Event is encouraging people to move offices for the day to Victoria on the River to get a different perspective, to connect with others, to try different things for their workplace wellbeing and to connect to our amazing space in the Kirikiriroa CBD.

There will be live music, whakawhānaungatanga, massages, delish kai available for purchase, chairs, bean bags, wifi and movement activities scattered throughout the day that people can choose to be engaged with, all while they get their mahi on with one of the best views in the Waikato.
